FOSPAH conducted an interactive session at Fatima Cadet College, Murree, sensitising young girl cadets to workplace harassment

The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) conducted an awareness session at Fatima Cadet College, Murree on Friday, 24 July 2026, engaging more than 150 first and second year students on the importance of safe, respectful and harassment free workplaces. 

Girl cadets were sensitized to the concept of workplace harassment, their legal rights and responsibilities, and the complaint and redress mechanisms available under the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act. The session encouraged young cadets to recognize unacceptable behavior, understand available legal safeguards and contribute to fostering workplaces built on dignity, respect and equal opportunity.

As part of FOSPAH’s nationwide awareness and outreach efforts, the session was led by Communications Officer Ms. Yumna Jamil, along with Assistant Registrars Ms. Shaza Kaleem and Ms. Aneesa Zeb, reinforcing the Secretariat’s commitment to engaging academic institutions in promoting safe, respectful and inclusive workplaces.
