Fauzia Viqar Urges Corporate Leaders to Turn Women’s Rights Commitments into Action
In every society, the measure of justice is seen in how women’s dignity is protected and upheld. When workplaces fail to safeguard against harassment and discrimination, it is not only individual careers that suffer, it is the collective progress of the nation that is stalled. From this conviction, FOSPAH joined the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) in celebrating International Women’s Day 2026 under the UN theme “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls.” Our Federal Ombudsperson, Ms. Fauzia Viqar, delivered a powerful address, reminding corporate leaders that legal frameworks and complaint mechanisms are not optional, they are essential instruments of justice. Her presence underscored FOSPAH’s mission to transform awareness into action, ensuring that every woman in the workforce can claim her rights with confidence.
