Building Awareness on Inclusive and Harassment-Free Work Environments
Workplaces in Pakistan are not just sites of employment; they are mirrors of our social fabric, carrying both its strengths and its inequities. Recognizing this, FOSPAH participated in the launch of the Beyond Barriers Project in Islamabad, contributing to a collective effort aimed at advancing safe, inclusive, and dignified professional spaces. Representing the Honourable Ombudsperson, Ms. Shaza Kaleem Usmani, Assistant Registrar, highlighted the pressing need to strengthen access to justice for women, persons with disabilities, transgender individuals, and workers in the informal sector. She stressed that legal protections must move beyond paper, becoming instruments of real empowerment that allow marginalized groups to claim their rights and experience dignity in practice.
