FOSPAH Conducts Awareness Seminar at Emerson University to Promote Safe and Inclusive Workspaces
Creating safe and inclusive spaces begins with knowledge and collective accountability. In line with FOSPAH’s vision to end workplace harassment and empower communities, the Multan Sub-Regional Office organized an awareness seminar at Emerson University, Multan. The session was led by Assistant Director M. Asghar Shahid and Assistant Abdul Rehman, and was attended by the teaching and non-teaching staff along with students, reflecting strong institutional participation. The seminar provided an overview of workplace harassment laws and women’s rights, followed by an interactive question-and-answer session that encouraged dialogue and clarified participants’ concerns. To reinforce commitment, a pledge was taken from students through QR code scanning, symbolizing their resolve to stand against harassment. Awareness booklets and brochures were also distributed, ensuring participants left with accessible information and practical guidance. This initiative highlights FOSPAH’s continued efforts to strengthen outreach, promote legal literacy, and engage academic communities in building safe and inclusive environments.
